Terra Heegan and Draven Taraxus had no choice but to retreat from Bra’ka. Still, settling for running things from the Harpies Capitol isn’t working either. Especially with Golix free to continue his plotting and planning…
No one knows where Lanni Heegan is, or even if she’s still alive. Can she be found and rescued? Or will our stalwart champions be left to face more grief…
Will the former Orc Assassin, Haydn Durel become an asset to the cause? Or will she turn and betray them all…
Can any of them survive the latest onslaught of evil and live to fight another day? Or will darkness finally prevail across two worlds…
Question #1.) What inspired you to become a writer?
My mother actually. She was professor of English Lit her entire career and early on instilled a deep love for the written word in my life. Were it not for her and her faith in my talent, I’d never have gotten this far.
Question #2.) Do you have a favorite character; one that called to you from the beginning?
My favorite character is a young lady – ok, she’s *not* so young, she’s around 300 years old – is *deep breath* Erika John Starr-Sisko Killkenny Jackson MacPherson, Princess Tecka to The Royal House of Mutarians. She’s been with me for years, close to 20 actually and started out as a Role-Playing Character I played when I was much, much younger. She’s migrated now into the Spi-Corp Series (You meet her in Book 2 – Saving His Love) and she’s a total BLAST to write for.
Question #3.) What is your favorite thing to do while writing; is there a certain song you listen to? a spot you have to sit in?
Not really. Mostly I listen to whatever’s roaming through my Pandora stations at the time. I have my desk in the dining room and I just go to town when I’m in The Zone.
Question #4.) Do you plan on writing another series of books completely different than your Dragons, Griffons and Centaurs, Oh My! Series?
I actually already have one. The Spi-Corp Series is 18 books long (Book 1 & 2 are out now with Book 3 on the way sometime by year’s end) with the other 15 to follow rather quickly as they’re mostly written… 😀
Question #5.) What are your favorite things about a dragon shifter?
Oh wow. Um, I guess it’s probably a combination of things. Their fierce love for their Kyleri, their ability to shape-shift into a very large dragon and their willingness to do whatever it takes to do what’s right.
Question #6.) Do you think our world would be a better place if we had paranormal creatures?
Oh my yes.
Question #7.) If you could choose to be married to any paranormal man in the world, who would it be? Would he be a wolf, dragon, cat, gargoyle, fae…?
Dragon. Definitely a Dragon. Either the way I write them, or one of my fellow greats writes them, Julia Lake Mills. Just <3 her Dragons almost as much as mine! 😉
Question #8.) Who is your favorite author?
Oh no way. I could no sooner name a favorite than stop my next breath! I love lots of Authors… 😉
Question #9.) What is your advice to the people of the world, like me, who want to become writers so badly?
Keep writing. The key to this business is content. So, write, write, write and never give up.
Hope you like the answers. Thanks for the opportunity to interview with you and for the lovely reviews! I’m so glad you’re enjoy the journey through The Five Kingdoms.
This is the third installment in Margaret Taylor’s amazing fantasy series: Dragons, Griffons and Centaurs, Oh My! It was exciting, adventurous, fantastic, unique, and a complete EPIC story. Good authors know how to take you for a wild ride and knock you right off of your seat. But, no worries! You will get right back on wanting more and more.
I experienced so many emotions while reading this book; happiness and tears (so grab some tissue) to name a couple. The hero and heroine were electric together. What a beautiful and fantastical world Margaret has introduced us to.
I would suggest reading each of these novels in order, only because I think you all need to get the complete detailed story on each character; what they are and their worlds. That is another thing I love about these books. All of the characters, with their different qualities, will keep you addicted. While you get your fill of them you will feel sated.
But, as soon as you begin the last chapter, yo know its about to come to an end and you cannot wait for more. I am so thrilled knowing the fourth installment is coming out soon. Impatience is my middle name right now. I have to admit, I can’t get enough. This world is like no other. The characters are riveting, sensual, fierce, and brave. This read has just the perfect amount of darkness, and the lightness grabs on right when you need it.
I am in love with Margaret Taylor creating five different kingdoms. This is something I’ve always loathed, a fantasy world which always draws me in. I just can’t seem to get these books out of my mind. I will not be specific on everything; not wanting to spoil the adventure for you avid readers like myself. But the mystery itself is worth five freaking stars!
There is always surprises which keeps you on your toes, never knowing what to expect. So many things you get to partake in: meeting fiery sisters, weird creatures, hot dragons and so much more. So what are you waiting for? Go get these books now!
