A New Adult Dark Contemporary Romance, not suitable for people sensitive to grief, slavery, and non-consensual sex. A story about finding love in the strangest of places, a will of iron that grows from necessity, and forgiveness that may not be enough.
“My life was complete. Happy, content, everything neat and perfect.
Then it all changed.
I was sold.”
Tess Snow has everything she ever wanted: one more semester before a career in property development, a loving boyfriend, and a future dazzling bright with possibility.
For their two year anniversary, Brax surprises Tess with a romantic trip to Mexico. Sandy beaches, delicious cocktails, and soul-connecting sex set the mood for a wonderful holiday. With a full heart, and looking forward to a passion filled week, Tess is on top of the world.
But lusty paradise is shattered.
Kidnapped. Drugged. Stolen. Tess is forced into a world full of darkness and terror.
Captive and alone with no savior, no lover, no faith, no future, Tess evolves from terrified girl to fierce fighter. But no matter her strength, it can’t save her from the horror of being sold.
Can Brax find Tess before she’s broken and ruined, or will Tess’s new owner change her life forever?
I am just being honest. I had no interest in reading this book in the beginning. But after friends, fellow authors, and the like kept telling me how wonderful this book was, I had to give it a try. BOY, was I glad I read this book! I was addicted from the first page and I could not quit reading it.
The characters have so many complexities and riveting things about them, they were unbelievable! Q and Tess connected from the very first time their eyes met. Tess tried quite hard to stay away from him.
This novel may not be for you if you are uncomfortable with slavery, BDSM situaltions, and sexuality.
Tess takes a vacation with her boyfriend Brax, never thinking in a million years that she would be abducted, sold into slavery, and having to call a man master. But that’s exactly what happened; sold, tortured, hurt, and emotionally distraught.
She meets Q, her new master, who is handsome, unexpected, and gentle. Domineering to a fault, Q instantly feels an attraction to Tess and wants to learn more about her. But, she is not ready for any friendships and determined to escape.
As time goes by, Tess becomes comfortable, trying to accept her situation and let Q’s masculine hands tame her. Will they come together and find what they’ve both been aching for?
